EL PASO, Texas — Police on Sunday continued investigating the demise of a Southwest Airways worker who was shot near an employee automobile parking space on the airport in El Paso.
Police say that they had been dispatched to the airport Friday night time time on an aggravated theft title and when officers arrived, they found the physique of the worker.
In an announcement on Saturday, Southwest Airways talked about the unidentified employee, who labored on the airport’s ground operations, had been fatally shot whereas leaving work.
“This could be a heartbreaking, tragic loss for the Southwest Workforce, and we lengthen deepest sympathies to our colleague’s family, relations, and their extended Southwest Family. In an announcement, El Paso Aviation Director Sam Rodriguez supplied his condolences to the worker’s family and talked about his firm was cooperating with police in its investigation.
“The airport stays open as we work with laws enforcement to produce a protected flying experience,” Rodriguez talked about.
No arrests have been made inside the taking footage.
